Sc offline on iOS12?

Hi friends
I have finally upgraded my iOS device and would love to use the PWA offline feature, but it’s not supported on Safari. Is there a work around?

If a partial solution might help…
I’ve read that SC has a download ePub solution.
Also SuttaCentral Voice has audio downloads.

Is there an app like the accesstoinsight one or is this some other way of working? I’m having iOS 12 on an iPhone and iPad.

I was wondering about this capability as well. The current version of Progressive Web Apps (PWA) doesn’t work on my iPhone. It seems like other websites that use PWAs use a different URL (like app.starbucks.com). I don’t know if this has any bearing on how it works here at SuttaCentral.

Is this test only relevant for Safari?

Using Chrome 70.0.3538.77-1 on Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS, I get “network error” immediately when clicking the download button.

My iPad says
“Unfortunately we don’t support advanced Progressive Web App (PWA) features on your platform. ”

And the button says “already downloaded “

Nothing appears to work offline either :slight_smile:

Sorry for the delay in response I didn’t see the notification. Happy to give feedback re iPad stuff for SC. Hopefully I can pop in here a bit more often this year.
