I know nothing about the structure of the Chinese texts (still getting my head around the structure of the pali texts), but I’ve got a bunch of references that I’d like to turn into links. So for example I have the following sentence:
Nine aṅgas occur in the Mahāsaṅghika Vinaya (T № 1425, p. 227b), in the Saṅgīti Sūtra (T № 12, p. 227b), in the Itivuttaka (T № 765, p. 684a and 697c), in the Dharmasaṅgīti Sūtra (T № 761, p. 612a), in the Saddharmapuṇḍarika Sūtra (T № 262, p. 7c (though this seems to be a different set)), in the Dharmasaṅgraha (T № 764, p. 661a), and in the Daśavihāravibhāsa (T № 1521, p. 19b).
Is there a way for me to search for these ‘T’ reference numbers? I’ve tried using volpage: — so a few variations on this theme volpage:T 12b227 for example, but to no avail so far.
There’s an easy way to link to any line of the Taisho at the CBETA site, but you do need to know the Taisho text no., the volume in the Taisho, and then the page and line numbers. If you have that information you can do this:
T17 = the volume no.
n0765 = the Taisho text number (always four digits)
p_0689 = the page number (always four digits)
a08 = the column and line number (always a, b, or c + two digits)
If you don’t have a line number, you can link to 01 for the first line.
