Have you tried ctrl+shift+r?
Can you tell us your browser (Chrome/Edge/Firrefox/etc) and operating system (Windows/Mac/Linux)?

Since the homepage loads slowly on mobile phones, I modified the font loading strategy. When the homepage is opened, the default system font is used, and the custom font is loaded only when the user clicks the navigation menu.
So if you go directly to the sutta page, the custom font has not been loaded yet, so the default font is used.
I have made a modification to only execute this loading strategy on the mobile side.
Just to confirm that fonts work beautifully now. ![]()
Hyperlinks to a specific segment of a sutta on discourse doesnât take me to the segment anymore. Same if I search for something on suttacentral and click on the segment. It just takes me to the beginning of the sutta. I donât know if it works fine on a computer and this has something to do with the default font on a phone.
So if I click AN 5.132:4.3 on discourse or if I search for «Possessing these five qualities SÄriputta rightly» on suttacentral and click on the 4.3 segment it takes me to the beginning of the sutta instead of the segment.
Thanks, could you tell me what environment and browser it is? There is no problem on PC and Android browser, but I can reproduce this problem on Safari on iPhone.
iPhone 16e
iOS 18.5
Safari
Edit: It works for me now, thanks @HongDa!
Edit 2: It looks like it works if I have activated «Main» under «References». But if I turn that off, it stops working again.
Thanks for you feedback ![]()
I will make some changes to try to fix the problem completely.
The Pali word lookup stops working if I go to another sutta. To get it to work again I have to click «none» under «Activate Pali word lookup» and then click on «English» again. The same thing happens with the Chinese word lookup, I have to click «none» and then on «æ±èŻ â English» again.
It never hurts to tell us exactly what page you have the problem on, even if it seems to happen on all page. Itâs also great to remind us exactly what your browser and OS are. And if you are on Safari, make sure you are on the latest version.
I mention this because I canât recreate this problem on my FF/Windows system.
If I clear my cookies and activate side by side or line by line and Pali lookup the first sutta always works. I tried DN 1 now, it worked. I changed to DN 2, and then it stopped working. I had to click «None» and then on «English» again to get it to work on DN 2. If I go back to DN 1 or go to any other sutta it stops working and I have to click «None» and then on «English» again.
I had said it two post earlier so I didnât think it would be necessary, but itâs:
I think itâs just something with iOS and safari after the newest SuttaCentral update since HongDa was able to replicate another problem Iâm having with hyperlinks to segments taking me to the start of a sutta instead of the segment after the update.
Thanks! I think itâs a good policy to treat different bugs as independent problems until proven otherwise. It may very well end up itâs all iOS/Safari related. Thanks, as always, for the time you take to report bugs. Itâs a huge help.
Yes, Iâve tried hard refreshing with C-S-r. My default user-agent is Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:140.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/140.0. The annotations are fine when viewed initially, but mousing-over any breaks that annotation in particular. It also happens in Chromium 135.0.7049.84 (my local Chromium install for verifying these kinds of things).
Hi @HongDa - The latest push seems to have broken Bu Np 24? The page is loading blank for me and the API is giving âInternal Server Errorâ
Thanks @Khemarato.bhikkhu , I have reloaded the data.
The data loading code refactored by @Jhanarato works fine in the production environment. ![]()
Thanks for the quick fix ![]()
Good to know. Here to help if anything goes Kaboom!
It shouldnât though. Iâve got a pretty decent suite of tests now and a good understanding of what the code should do.
Hi @cyan I have tried to fix this problem, please try again when you have time.
Hi @Beaver I have made some modifications to Safari and it now looks normal on my iPhone. you can try it when you have time.
Weird bug with SA884 as a parallel to AN3.58 and AN3.59
When looking at SA884 or SA885, they both say theyâre parallels to AN3.58 and AN3.59, but only SA884 shows as a parallel when looking at those texts, so that is probably related
I am having a Pali word lookup bug. I made a short screen capture video below showing what happens. You can see how the Pali word lookup works at the beginning, but after I use the âVâ keyboard shortcut to switch views, it stops working. Refreshing the page temporarily fixes the issue until I use the âVâ keyboard shortcut again.
Iâm on Windows 11. I can replicate the bug in Chrome and Edge in both regular or incognito mode, and I tried clearing site data. There is no bug in Firefox.
