“Mahāpajāpatī Gotamī & the 500 Sakyan Women on the Great Renunciation Trail” painting ![]()
full-resolution visual Dhamma Dāna
Dear treasured Dhamma sisters, family, friends and kin, as quite a number of you asked me if it was possible to receive a high-resolution copy of this beautiful painting by artist Archana Sonti. I promised that it would be shared upon the completion of the Footsteps of Mahāpajāpatī Gotamī: Honoring Women in Dhamma Carika, after the “first dāna” of the engraved metal plates of this painting which was prepared and offered to all the participants upon completion - that then it would be made open and freely-available to be shared with all.
Now, keeping my promise: this is link to the full 5.9MB image of the painting: https://photos.app.goo.gl/NLtzKf2KRq3pFdtZ8
. . .
From this link, you can download, order canvas prints, order photo prints. You can crop off the bottom. You are free to share as a freely-given “dāna” gift. However, please don’t sell it ~ but keep it as dāna ~ in the realm of blessed freely-given generosity. Thank you. For any other ideas, please contact very much appreciated and blessed artist of this painting, Archana Sonti.
“The gift of the Dhamma surpasses all gifts.”
If you wish to offer something in return, please read or listen to and contemplate some good Dhamma, and share the blessings with our dear world, much in need. Or offer a New Years gift to some Theravāda Bhikkhuni or Bhikkhunis somewhere. They are deeply dedicated, and are not over-supported ~ it will mean a lot to them. If you think of me, please share my blessings. Thank you very much and anumodana sādhu. May you grown in Dhamma. That is truly the gift that is never wasted.
Dhammadharini, New Years Eve
