I guess the issue is that humanity creates the gods after its image.
When it fits us that they’re smart and holy, then of course they are.
When precisely this notion hinders us to sell our spiritual product, then we ridicule them.
Sorry guys, but you’re discussing as if there really is a celestial being called ‘Baka’ - why do the scriptures not mention Brahma ‘John’, or Brahma ‘Abdulla’ or ‘Ivan’? Before getting completely wrapped up in guesswork why not collect sources - not for the truth of course, but for the different positions of the EBT.

Yes I see what you are saying however then there is also the point that many of these devas would seem to go by many names. It is not that strange that they would be called after then names of the culture. Like juno and hera to the romans and greeks. But you could correct there too.
