Tell me how can one proceed by themselves using available resources?

Greetings Ven. bhikku, bhikkuni & learned friends. Lately along my daily practice I took time out to read books by Ven. Bhikku @sujato . Wow, I cannot express how thankful I am, It resolved many of my doubts about concepts such as kamma, sankhara, meditation retreats ( ref: 60 points diff between thervadian vs EBT) & his MN translation, I used to read Satthipathana sutta from it, to clarify my doubts further ( I am thankful he made the translation very readable for someone from south east Asian nation).

Coming to my doubt, Can I use the texts to shift my practice directly to mindfulness of breath, & use the sattipathana methods as per my needs. Has anyone done so? Thank you very much everyone.

Hearing your inspiration and gratitude is inspirational!

Yes, the texts are there for that very purpose. Satipatthana is to understand and develop mindfulness and when mindfulness is sufficiently developed, it is the first of the Seven Awakening Factors.

Yes, but you need not do it on your own. Bhante Sujato has a weekly online practice that he guides, which everyone can join, so you could benefit from that as well.

Good teachers are one of the causes for the development of wisdom!
