Just to fill in the gap in this article.

There are 270+ bhikkhunis in Thailand, in at least 30 out of 76(?) provinces.

Lack of gov support hasn’t stopped them from also being engaged in the Covid effort.

Ayya Dhammananda told us on Wednesday that their extended community of supporters had given out over 6,000kg of rice, as well as setting up stations so poor could register for government 5000 baht support payment (hard for poor with no internet).
