This post is in response to a question I was unable to answer asked several years ago, I believe, by @LXDNR. The question was in regards to some statement I made about the effects of “Buddhist Hybrid Chinese” on modern Chinese, syntactically, grammatically, and in terms of its lexicon.
I just came across this article:
