Another question is if the teachings of the Suttas are Ānando’s and Sāriputta’s rather than the Buddha’s … why is Sāriputta almost always introduced in Suttas that are morally sour and about reprimanding monks?
Half of AN it seems are rather shallow moral instructions worthy of a stubborn Christian abbott.
