The shell of the old (Brahmanical/Jain tradition), filled with something new (Buddhavacana)

I thought this recent podcast called Who Were the Last Pagans of Europe? by ReligionforBreakfast might be of interest. It includes an exploration of “Creolization” which is when two cultures or traditions come into contact and produce something genuinely new — not a simple mixture of the two, but a third thing with its own distinct identity. Thus my choice of topic or heading. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drA6PifnsFU
