I’ve been getting various error messages along the lines of a data base not being able to be contacted.

This is why I built the Citation Helper. SC search needs improving and the Devs are aware. If you search the forum you will find many posts about it.

And if you know the citation exists, you can just put it at the end of the SC URL:

You can also use A Treasury of Dhamma
but the search isn’t as user friendly as suttacentral and you have to play with phrases to get it to properly work
