All the references I’m seeing on where this quote is from say it’s from the Mahavagga where the Buddha attended to a sick monk who was wrongfully ignored by his fellow monks. Is this account and quote only found there? Thanks.

Yes. Even in later texts it appears to be quoted only in the Vinaya Atthakathā and various Vinaya sub-commentaries.
