We are introducing a new ‘languages’ field to forum user profiles. We are hoping that by adding this we can build a stronger community and to add context to people discussions. Especially those which are about translation of texts.
We invite you to jump in to Update your profile with any languages that you are fluent in.
If you can’t see a languages field, you might need to hit refresh (cmd/crtrl+r).
This new profile feature will show on users cards like this:
Sadly, while having a basic grasp on a few other languages, English is the only one I am ‘fluent’ in.

I just wanted to thank Ven. Pasanna for suggesting this addition to the forum. It’s been interesting to start to really see the language diversity here. Not surprising, but appreciated for sure.
Please go ahead and update your profile, even if you just put English. And don’t worry, we won’t be quizzing you

No need to go into great detail. If you can communicate in a language , then list it. Even if it’s just English. So far 81 folks have added their info.
