Hah. This brings back memories. I’ve been to one of these “Buddha Bar” places in NYC back in summer of '06 when I was working as an intern there. I got the impression the bosses were eager to impress us fresh-faced interns. I remember the dècor being very tasteful, but yeah…now that I think of it, serving alcohol with such a large Buddha image centre-stage is quite the misappropriation.
