What are the suttas commonly chanted at funerals?
In general, but also I’m thinking in particular of the passage that says we come into the world with nothing and leave it with nothing.
Thanks.

Pali chanting of the theravada (southern) buddhist school as chanted by the Bhikkhus (Monks) of the Abhayagiri Buddhist Monastery.
Texts of the chants are here.
The ‘Anicca vata Sankhara’ that you may be thinking of is from DN16.
For a Thai style funeral, there will be a short Abhidhamma chanting, but I guess the Salla Sutta is what you meant.
Heartbreakingly beautiful.
Sallasutta Snp 3.8 - Laurence Mills translation, Thanissaro translation.
Both parts of my question answered. My thanks to you Doc and Ayya Suvīra.
It is beautiful isn’t it.
When I quote from it at non-Budhist funerals, it seems to be appreciated.
Hi ,
What about chanting Tirokuṭṭa Sutta at funeral ?
