Daily Fasting Improves Health and Survival, Independent of Diet Composition and Calories

Yes I always avoid dinner and it helps me too for meditation. As Valter Longo noted however, this qualifies more as time restricted feeding than fasting. I was talking about water only fasts lasting weeks.

Are your permanently in ketosis? Do you measure the ketone levels in your blood? It seems a very restrictive diet since one can hardly eat any carbs (particularly hard for me as I am a vegan, but even if you eat animal products, you are limited in proteins since they also can get you out of ketosis). I also get the impression that people do this as a temporary fix (e.g. Peter Attia did it because he was insulin resistant but he has stopped now) perhaps because it’s so hard to implement; and also perhaps because there is not really any data on its long term effects.
I would be interested in knowing about your experience.
