The Sacred Mountain Sangha (Thanisara) initiated a forum for Dhamma teachers to speak about the current crisis in Israel-Palestine with a.o. Bhikkhu Bodhi and Ayya Santacitta. The contributions of the various speakers is very moving and powerful.

What do you think the underlying metaphysical causes of the conflict are in that region?

If anybody is interested, there is a Buddhist chanting circle at Sacred Mountain for all who wish to connect to others in a difficult time. There are both Palestinians and Jews there who just wish to fighting to stop.

This war seems to be an especially egregious case of leaders throwing their people under the bus to hold on to power just that little bit longer. Truly despicable.
Hopefully cooler heads will prevail sooner rather than later…
