A little out of date perhaps? Much of what is discussed in the video has now been shown to be true in unicellular life also, along with the discovery of the nanobrain in mobile bacteria.

E-coli for example (which is “simpler” than the Trichoplax adhaerens mentioned) displays behaviours consistent with cognitive phenomena such as memory, learning and even (I would suggest) fear, in that they move away from a potentially (rather than an ‘actually’) dangerous situation - this is a learned response.

Those little bacteria turn out to be far more sensitive, with far more complex behaviour than we thought. Which kinda sucks for those attempting to keep the first precept in the 21st century.

The methodology used in making these videos is addressed in the following: https://youtu.be/JtUAAXe_0VI

However, there is only so much research they can do while still maintaining deadlines for production. That being said, your contribution, @Media, is quite amazing! It further enforces my philosophy that the more we know, the more we know there’s so much more that we don’t.
