How long can a meditator stay in the first jhāna at maximum ? Is it the same for all the remaining jhānas ?

It depends. Imagine a Deva like Brahma for example, applying themselves fully to the Dhamma, with such an extraordinary ability of mind they could stay in Jhana for the rest of their lives. I believe this is possible for certain human beings as well!
