I find it difficult that I have to scroll back down to where I was. Because the table keeps going back when you return to page of the table
I think you mean, if you go to a page like this:

Then click on a sutta like this:
https://suttacentral.net/mn152/en/sujato
Then click back, it goes back to the top of the page?
Hmm, it’s a tricky one. It’s one of these cases where there is a default behavior that the browser gives you. You can hack it, but it’s delicate, and you may well end up making things more complicated and brittle, and breaking a bunch of edge cases. As it is it is performant and reliable and predictable, and that’s not nothing.
I’ll give it some thought, but no promises!
