Mahānidāna Sutta Sutta

Hullo, at the top of the English version of DN15 the title is given as “Mahānidāna Sutta Sutta”. I trust that, profound as it is, it is not more ‘sutta-y’ than the other suttas and only needs one ‘Sutta’ in its title.

It is the most suttaish of suttas! It’s just so suttaish that one sutta cannot contain it.
