Maranasati - Mindful Recollection of Death

Seems like a pragmatic and considerate person. Good on him to reduce and simplify the work his family must do when he dies. If death is so imminent for ourselves, we should seek to do the same, for their sake.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know the saṃdhi rules as to why it is quite often Maraṇasati, not Maraṇānussati?
