Early greeting for me this year. I’m off to teach a retreat for the next ten days, so you won’t see me around here for a little.
Be happy, enjoy your time with your family, or without them. The end of the year is a time for letting go and reflecting, for letting the past be at peace so that the new can be born. Who knows what next year will bring?
One Christmas time about 8 years ago I was invited to be the guest speaker at a center that offered day activities for elderly Hindu immigrants. They called the special occasion a “Happy Birthday Jesus” celebration. So a Buddhist nun helped Hindu elders celebrate a Christian holiday!
Happy time, dear Bhante Sujato! Thank you so much for all your teachings, encouragement, shake ups … during the last year. What a blessing! Herzliche Grüße, Esther
