It’s true Venerable @sujato, a medieval Persian poet and translator (Aban Al-Lahiki 750-815 CE.) is said to have translated either all or parts of the Jatakas from Sanskrit to Arabic. But unfortunately all his works are lost, we only know about his translations from other sources. The connection between Sufism and Mahayana is so strong though, and Sufi vocabulary is predominantly Buddhist!
