Is the Mettanisamasa sutta, describing the eleven benefits of Metta in the AN 8.1 (suttacentral) or AN11.16 (accesstoinsight) ? Why is the inconsistency so severe?

Actually, they are both on Sutta Central:
AN 8.1 SuttaCentral
AN 11.15 SuttaCentral
However, the numbering of the latter is slightly different. I believe the different versions of the Pali texts preserved in different countries divide the suttas differently.
It’s actually quite common in the AN to find basically the same list in different places with different numbers of entries…
