MN 58 translation of pali text

“adhivāsetu me, bhante, bhagavā svātanāya attacatuttho bhattan”ti.
“Sir, may the Buddha please accept tomorrow’s meal from me, together with three other monks.”

In pali there are no three other monks! Also there are not mentioned in the following text. I think it is mistake in translation…

Looks like the term attacatuttho means “with self as fourth”, which implies there are three others.

‘catuttha’ is the ordinal number for 4, ‘fourth’, ‘atta’ is self.

Maybe another idiomatic way of putting it would be, ‘the four of us’.
