Kukkuravatika Sutta (MN57): the Dog-Duty Ascetic
The Buddha meets two ascetics, one who imitates the behavior of a dog, the other who imitates the behavior of an ox. He reveals to them the futility of their practices and gives them a discourse on kamma and its fruit.
