Open question to Bhante Sujato - Reform of Vinaya Pitaka

Because I have a personal interest in this problem. I have been discriminated many times due to my race and color. I have met many fathers who were discriminated in family court (by mothers) and deny access to their children. In Sri Lanka, many people are discriminated due to their cast. (thankfully I do not have that problem as I am from a higher cast)
There are so-called support systems and they are just the lip services.
What I see is we all are fighting our own little battle instead of addressing the discrimination as a whole.
We have to have a good look at ourselves to see how we discriminate people every day.

Yes, thank you for this answer, I understand a little better now.

Finding a major, long-term improvement is of course a great goal, but we have to start with what we have. I think the three little tips I gave earlier are useful; or at least, they have been for me.

Agree.
We have to divert all our energy to do this and not to fight our own little battle.
I tried this in my own little way but no support at all.
Not even a thumbs up.

No, it won’t work.
Fighting individual discrimination devide people.
If we can fight the total discrimination ( like Buddha) it will unite people.
