I use firefox, the free app “grab my books”, which adds the webpage you grab to your epub book, and I read it offline on a easy on the eyes e-ink monochrome kindle.
The problem is when you try to select text to grab, it only grabs part of the thread because only parts of the thread are on demand loaded into the browser.
So from this discussion below, the solution is “control-p”, which loads a pop up window containing the entire thread, not just part. From that pop up window, I can then use “grab my books” to add the full text thread to my epub book to read later.
I think the control-p workaround, and any other clever solutions, should be information easily accessible to SCDD participants.
