I am noticing inconsistent behavior regarding the “Your topic is similar to …” panel when creating a new topic. Just now when I opened this topic, I did see it appear. I had to click it closed in order to create this text. But that panel doesn’t always appear when the New Topic button is clicked. I use up-to-date Chrome on Windows 10, Material Theme.

Don’t really have a clue about that, but I had a look on the meta forum and from the below kind of concluded that the inconsistency might actually be a feature:
That is, whether or not one gets the pop up will depend on whether their post matches whatever settings have been applied on D&D.
