I’ve started working through Bhikkhu Bodhi’s collection, “The Buddha’s Teachings on Social and Communal Harmony”, which contains a nice collection of suttas particularly relevant to lay life and society. One might think of this as an elaboration of some sections of “In the Buddha’s Words”.

Unfortunately, unlike “In the Buddha’s Words”, the introductory material is not available on-line.
Over on Dhamma Wheel I’ve started to post links to the suttas (or sections of suttas) to aid discussion of this material: https://dhammawheel.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=345&start=20#p420589
So far I’ve got Chapter 1, Right Understanding, here: https://dhammawheel.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=29258&p=420590#p420590. I’ll probably be posting chapters about every three weeks, as part of the Study Group cycle, so it will take a few months to work through the book.
I’d like to acknowledge the really useful facility of Sutta Central that allows links to sections of suttas. That’s particularly useful for a short extract from a DN sutta!
Comments welcome here or over on Dhamma Wheel.
