Found The History of India Podcast thanks to the India section of the History of Philosophy without any gaps podcast. Haven’t listened to it yet but it seems relevant to the purpose of this forum (at least the early history of India part).

Thanks. That looks like a nice podcast series. A few years ago I spent a few months gradually making my way through Mike Duncan’s excellent and enjoyable History of Rome podcast series (in 179 episodes of around an easily-digestible 20 minutes each, going all the way from the kings of Rome, through the Republic, then onto the Empire and all the way to its fall, and the all the colourful characters: the good, the bad and the mad in-between 
). This Indian series reminds me a bit of that (will check it out).
