Vietnamese translation of the Visuddhimagga?

Hello. My apologies if this question is too off-topic. I am looking for a Vietnamese translation of the Visuddhimagga or advice on where to track one down. My Googling has not yielded any results.

Thank you in advance for any help!

If we don’t get any results here, I’ll try some of my Vietnamese friends. Generally, the Vietnamese have translated as much or more of the Buddhist texts than anyone else in modern times, so I’d be surprised if it didn’t exist. But it may well not have been digitized.

May I ask why you need it? Just curious!

There is just one, as far as I know — that of Thích Nữ Trí Hải. It’s available online:

The Thanh Tịnh Đạo (Visuddhimagga) by Phật Âm (Buddhaghosa)

And I think there may be a pdf file of it here, but I can’t say for sure as my connection’s too slow to access it.

Pdf???

Thank you! My mother-in-law is Vietnamese. She has always thought of me when she finds a book in English. I always ask her if she has found the Visuddhimagga in Vietnamese yet. I thought this would be a good place to try and track it down for her.

Thank you so much Dhammanando!

Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4” is the translation of Visuddhimagga.

I used the Google translator and Vietnamese Language dictionary.
