With regard to MN 115. I think in order to argue that a Sammasambuddha cannot be a woman one would have to find more than just one reference.

Ven Analayo in his paper demonstrates that this concept is featured in MN 115 parallels in other versions of the Canon, so it appears to be an established view

Is there a "place" in the west for a monastery that is home to Bhikkhus AND Bhikkhunis?
