First two-stages of meditation

Dear, Darmha Friends. How we practice the first two-stage of meditation the present moment and silent present-moment awareness. In the book “mindfulness bliss and beyond” Ajahn explains what is it but did not explain how to practice it. Can you share your experiences?

Have you tried out Ajahn Brahm’s online meditation classes? His techniques have evolved quite a lot ever since that book came out…
