Kannada translations of Khuddaka, Majjhima, Samyutta, and Anguttara Nikayas

There is a Volume 1 of the Khuddaka Nikaya that has been translated by an H.V. Srisangaraj into the Kannada language. The likes of which developed the Kannada translation of the Digha Nikaya that Sutta Central already uses.

There are also a few volumes that have been translated by the Buddhist Kannada author Molakalmuru Sreenivasamurthy and are available to view for free on his website and published by the Maha Bodhi Society.

Thanks so much for bringing these to our attention!

It looks to me like these are scanned books, which means that they’d have to be typed up to be usable on SC. Unless there is already a digital version?

May I ask, do you speak Kannada?

With OCR tech and maybe some AI help, it could be much faster than typing, depending on the quality of the scan. If it is too low quality then typing is better.

No, but I do wish that I did. My grandparents went to Kannada medium schools back in the 50s.
