What I usually do is that I click on the reference of the segment, which creates a specific link to the section. The references are found on the āviewsā tab.

If you search the forum for bookmark you will see this has been discussed many times. Including a post where you asked the very same question:
Is it possible to bookmark your place in a sutta?
If you want to break up reading a sutta over several session?
Hey there all, Iām not sure if this already exists or if someone else has suggested it before, but Iāve read so many suttas on suttacentral that I wanted to save so badly, and some of them I just copy the citation down into my own personal notes, but so many of them I just get fascinated and move onto another without remembering to stop what Iām doing and write something down!
I think it would be super helpful to everyone who has an account if they could either save or bookmark suttas that theyā¦
I would like to extend my deep and sincere gratitude to all contributors of this portal for making these texts available online.
I am not sure if the same suggestion has been made before, but since I do not find it in the list of topics, I decided to add it as a new topic. (My apologies if the proposal has been treated/answered already somewhere else)
As a daily reader, I thought it would be of great use to add a bookmark function on SC, so that one can easily resume reading where he/she left ā¦
Is there a way to use our user account to bookmark or āfavoriteā the suttas that we donāt want to lose track of? If not, I think that would be so helpful, along with a way to organize those favorited suttas, like the ability to make extra folders within the bookmark section of our account. Then we could make our own little categories for ourselves like āmeditation,ā āethics,ā ānibbana,ā etc. Iām not sure what something like this would entail, but I feel like it would be so useful as well as convā¦
I would almost guess that someone already has made such a suggestion in the past, but it would be incredibly helpful if in the future the suttacentral app would include some kind of bookmark function were we could bookmark our favorite suttas, or such as we are somewhat working on. Also thanks for all your efforts to all those who work on this great project.
Perhaps the @moderators could close this thread so we donāt have yet another one discussing the exact same thing.
